We are searching for a Demand Analyst, and the role can be based in Columbus, GA, Scottsdale, AZ, or remotely.

As our outdoor cooking business continues to raise the bar, we are hiring a Demand Analyst to help improve our forecasting, make sales driving recommendations, and streamline our analytics.

By analyzing and transforming our data, the Demand Analyst will turn insight into action to help drive business results! 

Job Summary

Responsible for the development of product supply forecast through detailed analysis. Partner with internal resources, customers, and external data sources to identify trends and data based assumptions to ensure an appropriate supply of product is readily available for distribution.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain sales and inventory plan by account to effectively manage inventory, maximize customer service levels, drive inventory efficiencies, and ensure forecasts and planning parameters are in sync.
  • Conduct regular analysis of customer POS reports; communicate trends and key drivers within each customer’s respective business.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain various reports to include but not limited to: forecast accuracy, sales analysis, inventory levels, gross margin, fill rate & inventory turnover; develop and provide reports as needed or deemed appropriate.
  • Through data and detailed analysis; provide assistance in driving key decisions in regards to sales, inventory, promotions, etc.
  • Regularly provide a reasonable accurate forecast of product needs by customer/item to include using POS data when available to develop a consumption model based forecast.
  • Establish, build and maintain professional business relationships with customer decision-makers to include: buyers, replenishment managers, etc.
  • Regularly partner with operations/supply chain to identify and plan for inventory flow requirements; assist in addressing problems or issues as appropriate.
  • Serve as a key data contributor across multiple cross functional teams.
  • Maintain quality and highly reliable data and information within one or more databases.
  • Support the businesses customer service objectives.
  • Other duties as deemed necessary.

Qualification Requirements

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field of study.

Minimum Experience:

  • Two (2) years of progressive experience conduct forecast analysis.

Licensure/Certification(s):

  • None.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Knowledge of analytical and forecast methodologies.
  • Knowledge of database analysis.
  • Knowledge of sales and inventory management within the consumer products manufacturing industry.
  • High degree of proficiency using a Personal Computer (PC)
  • High degree of proficiency using database analytical tools to include Microsoft Excel and Access in additional to similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to conduct detailed and complex statistical analysis.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to maintain information in a logical and well thought-out manner.
  • Ability to identify risk and opportunities through analysis.
  • Ability to be detail oriented.
  • Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness.

Physical Requirements

Normal Office Environment with Limited Travel Required.
