Job Summary

This leadership role will drive the Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) business for W.C. Bradley’s Outdoor Cooking group, which includes brands like Char-Broil, Pit Boss and Oklahoma Joe’s. This individual will focus on P&L management, promotional and pricing strategies, and successful commercial execution. The D2C leader will leverage data analytics to extract insights and optimize performance, while collaborating with IT to lead the development of technical infrastructure.

Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you’ll deliver on strategic goals, ensuring growth and profitability in the rapidly evolving digital marketplace. This role is critical to enhancing the consumer experience and achieving annual revenue targets.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Set Strategy & Tactics: Define the overall strategy and tactics for our direct-to-consumer businesses, including pricing, promotions, and merchandising, to drive profitable growth.
  • P&L Management: Take full ownership of D2C P&L, ensuring revenue growth and margin targets are met.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a small and nimble high-performing team, fostering an environment that supports innovation, risk-taking, and collaboration.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data and analytics to gain insights into consumer behavior, sales performance, and operational efficiency to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Tech Stack Leadership: Drive the development and integration of the D2C tech stack in collaboration with IT, ensuring seamless execution across eCommerce platforms and consumer-facing tools.
  • Commercial Execution: Partner with Sales, Business Units, and Brand Marketing to develop go-to-market strategies for new and existing products, ensuring successful execution across all channels.
  • Consumer Experience: Lead initiatives to enhance the consumer experience across the digital and physical D2C business touchpoints.

Qualification Requirements

Minimum Education: BA/BS degree preferred.


Minimum Work Experience:   Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience in product marketing, marketing, or product management, with a focus on D2C operations and P&L management.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Deep understanding of digital tools, measurement, and trends.
    • Proven experience in promotional, pricing, and merchandising strategies.
    • Analytical mindset with a strong ability to use data to drive decisions and improve business outcomes.
    • Ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams, including IT for tech stack management.
    • Strong people management skills, with experience in coaching and talent development.
    • High energy, adaptability, and a track record of driving results in a fast-paced environment.
