Job Summary

The primary purpose of a Senior Logistics Analyst is to optimize and mange the flow of goods, materials and information across the supply chain to ensure efficinet, cost-effective, and timely delivery of products. This role will leverage our TMS and other support tools to analyse data,  create process improvements, and apply their logistics expetirse to support strategic decision-making and ehnace operational performance to support our budget and customer goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

Supply Chain AnalysisData Extraction - Support strategic initiatives such as multimodal transportation and network redesigns. Identify key carriers, analyze logistics trends, forecast demand, and evaluate impact on logistics flows. 30%

Compliance and Risk Management - Ensure compliance with federal, international, and local shipping regulations. Manage import compliance (HTS codes, CVD/ADD, COO, CTPAT), and partner with product teams to ensure import data is complete and accurate.  30%

System & Tool Utilization - Utilize ERP systems (NetSuite and SAP), TMS (Ratelinx), WMS, and OSCA/Setlog to monitor workflows and international trade. Develop and maintain logistics dashboards to track performance and spending.    10%

Carrier Performance Management - Collaborate with carriers to resolve issues and improve service. Monitor and report on carrier KPIs, assist in contract reviews and negotiations, and manage day-to-day freight flow in coordination with internal teams. 30%

Salary range: $60,000 - $80,000 depending upon experience.

Qualification Requirements

Education, Experience & Certifications: Minimum Education Required: Technical or trade school diploma in logistics, transportation, or related field.

Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain, or Business Administration.

Experience Required: Minimum of 7 years in logistics or supply chain roles with demonstrated experience in data analysis, transportation planning, and regulatory compliance.

Certifications Required: 49 CFR Certification.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with TMS, Excel, and logistics reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations, freight classifications, Incoterms, and international shipping documentation.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Supervisory Scope: Provides leadership guidance while performing non-supervisory work.

Physical Requirements

  • Physical Activities: Regular sitting, standing, walking, bending, climbing, and reaching. Must have visual and auditory capabilities for operational monitoring.
  • Lifting Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds less than 25% of the time.
  • Travel Requirements: Less than 10%.
  • Valid Driver’s License: Required, based on job duties involving potential site visits or vendor meetings.
