Job Summary

W.C. Bradley Co. is seeking a high-performing Sales Operations Analyst – Pricing & Promotions to strengthen our commercial execution and help modernize our Sales Operations function.

This role goes beyond administrative pricing support. We are looking for a data-driven professional who can combine pricing discipline, analytical thinking, and process improvement to drive smarter decision-making and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate brings strong business acumen, advanced Excel skills, experience with BI tools (Power BI or Tableau preferred), and a continuous improvement mindset. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring pricing integrity, promotional effectiveness, and scalable processes across our commercial organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

Pricing & Margin Governance

  • Analyze and validate pricing strategies to ensure margin compliance and profitability targets.
  • Support structured price reviews, promotional scenarios, and margin impact analysis.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Finance to evaluate discount requests and pricing exceptions.
  • Ensure pricing accuracy across ERP and commercial systems.

Promotional Effectiveness & Analytics

  • Evaluate promotional performance using sales, margin, and volume data.
  • Develop reporting dashboards and performance summaries.
  • Identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support structured trade spend and promotional planning processes.

Sales Operations & Process Improvement

  • Identify inefficiencies in pricing and promotional workflows and implement scalable solutions.
  • Build and maintain structured documentation and SOPs.
  • Participate in system testing, enhancements, and tool implementation initiatives.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations.

Tools & Productivity Enablement

  • Develop analytical tools and reporting models using advanced Excel.
  • Utilize BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau) to improve data visibility.
  • Leverage automation tools, workflows, and AI-enabled systems to reduce manual processes.
  • Continuously evaluate new technologies that enhance commercial productivity.

Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Operations, or related field (required).
  • 5+ years of experience in Pricing, Sales Operations, Commercial Analytics, or related function.
  • Strong understanding of pricing strategy, margin analysis, and promotional execution.
  • Experience working within ERP environments (SAP or similar preferred).
  • Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, Power Query, scenario modeling, complex formulas).
  • Experience with Power BI or Tableau (strongly preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to improve processes and drive operational efficiency.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Experience with pricing optimization platforms (e.g., PROS or similar).
  • Experience supporting variable compensation models or commercial incentive structures.
  • Exposure to automation tools, workflow design, or AI-enabled systems.
  • Background in consumer goods, retail, or durable goods industries.
  • Continuous improvement training (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) a plus.
  • Analytical thinker with strong business judgment.
  • Comfortable challenging assumptions and improving legacy processes.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment.
  • Systems-oriented and productivity-driven.
  • Interested in building, not just maintaining.
