Job Summary

The Manager, Sales Operations is a key business partner to the sales leadership team and a key driver of performance, process excellence, and operational scale. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of sales operations—including forecasting, analytics, planning, sales enablement, CRM management, and cross-functional alignment—to enable consistent growth and a best-in-class customer experience. The successful candidate will bring commercial acumen, analytical rigor, and a collaborative mindset to optimize execution in a competitive, seasonal, and product-intensive environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy and Business Planning - Partner with sales leadership to define and implement annual sales strategies, growth plans, and go-to-market models.
    Drive territory, channel, and customer segmentation strategies to align resources with growth opportunities.
    Lead long-range planning initiatives, revenue modeling, and annual budget development in coordination with Finance.
  • Performance Analytics and Reporting - Own the design and delivery of dashboards and KPIs to monitor sales performance, pipeline health, and profitability. Deliver actionable insights to senior leadership that drive smarter decisions and accountability. Identify root causes for underperformance and work with sales leaders on corrective action plans.
  • Sales Enablements and Process Improvement -Standardize and continuously improve sales workflows, tools, and templates across the organization. Develop onboarding and training programs to elevate the skills and productivity of the sales force. Implement and manage sales playbooks, pricing guidance, and margin optimization strategies.  Support product onboarding with customers through completion of PDP, item setup etc.
  • Incentive Compensation & Territory Management -  Design and manage sales incentive plans that drive performance and reward profitable growth. Manage territory assignments, account allocations, and quota setting to align with company goals. Monitor incentive outcomes to ensure fairness, effectiveness, and alignment with company priorities  
  • Cross-functional Collaboration & Execution -  Serve as the key liaison between Sales and cross-functional teams including Marketing, Finance, Product, and Supply Chain.
    Drive alignment on product launches, pricing changes, promotional calendars, and customer programs.
    Act as a voice of the sales team in cross-functional planning and executive forums.
  •  Sales Forecasting & Demand Planning -       Develop and maintain accurate, scalable sales forecasting models by account, product category, and region.
    Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to support S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processes.
    Analyze historical performance, seasonal trends, and promotional impact to improve demand predictability.                                

Qualification Requirements

Requires Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Management, Marketing, or other relavant field of study

7 or more years of experience in Sales Operations, Commercial Planning, or Strategy roles within durable goods, appliances, consumer products, or manufacturing.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Abiltiy to support sales teams in both retail and B2B distribution environments.
  • Proven track record of implementing scalable processes and systems to improve sales performance.
  • Expertise in Salesforce, Power BI/Tableau, Excel, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional influencing skills.
  • Highly analytical and data-driven with strong business intuition.  
  • Regular and predictable attendance
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness
  • Ability to work cooperatively with co-workers
