Job Summary

The Product Data Analyst manages both the new product development timeline as well as the in-line product lifespan. The Product Data Analyst is the link between the Product Development, Marketing and Sales teams primarily working within Salsify and other data management systems to coordinate and track products from inception to launch. 

Duties and Responsibilities

•    New product/item setup within product management/digital asset management programs  Position will work with supply chain, product development and marketing teams to acquire product information.
•    Item Data Maintenance to include maintaining all data for the entire product catalog 
•    Product Development Tracking/Reporting: Working with Marketing and Product Development to align the development and “bring to market” timelines
•    Liaison between Badlands Marketing and advertising agency including: New item setups for Badlands website, coordination of assets moving between Badlands  and agency, and management of DAM
•    Badlands Website Maintenance to include assisting in general website maintenance including visual updates, product data updates/corrections, etc.
•    Assists Marketing in other activities as needed including Social Media Management, Pro Staff Management, and Asset Gathering and Management

Qualification Requirements

Minimum Education:    Associates or Bachelors degree is preferred.


Minimum Work Experience:    Zero (0) to Two (2) years of experience.


License(s) / Certification(s):    None.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

•    Product/asset management software proficiency required.  Training can be provided. 
•    Strong knowledge of social media platforms.
•    Proficiency using a PC (Personal Computer) to include the Microsoft Office suite of products.
•    Interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain a positive relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
•    Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
•    Organizational agility skills and the ability to effectively articulate information within and outside the organization.
•    Problem solving skills and the ability to identify creative solutions.
•    Time management skills and the ability to demonstrate a strong sense of urgency.
•    Ability to be detail oriented and ensure compliance with established guidelines.
•    Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.
•    Ability to work in a constant state of alertness.
