You know TIKI® Brand for our torches and fire pits; but we need you to help us as we develop our next generation of innovative products! 

As the sole Manufacturing Engineer at Lamplight Farms, you will play a pivotal role in the New Product Development process, working with exciting innovation and the opportunity to drive products to the market.

You will be the owner of our lean and continuous improvement journey through hands on implementation of process improvements, standard training practices, and new equipment recommendations.

Additional Responsibilities and Opportunities

• Continually find ways to improve quality and efficiency, both of which lead to a better product and reductions in the cost of producing the product. 
• Develop manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research that apply lean methodologies, employee safety, product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials.
• Ensure the company’s manufacturing processes are in compliance with all government laws and regulations.
• Assure product and process quality.  Design testing methods for finished product and process capabilities.  Establish standards and confirm manufacturing processes.
• Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends that lead to actions that eliminate waste and improve product reliability.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum two (2) years of manufacturing process and equipment engineering experience.
  • Preferential consideration to candidate with bottling line experience
• Certified Manufacturing Engineering Certification is preferred
• Knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other structured problem-solving process
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification preferred
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes; line manufacturing, fabrication and assembly, functional test, HASS, machining, etc.
• SAP Experience preferred
