Job Summary

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue and market expansion across Canada.  As the Canadian Director of Sales, you will drive revenue growth by developing and executing strategic sales initiatives, expanding market reach, and optimizing sales performance. You will identify new business opportunities, strengthen key partnerships, and lead the sales team to exceed targets while ensuring sustainable long-term growth.
  •  Oversee and optimize distribution strategies across national accounts, independent retailers, and e-commerce platforms.  As the Canadian Director of Sales, you will oversee multi-channel distribution strategies across Independent Retail, eCommerce, and National Accounts, ensuring seamless integration and performance across all sales channels. With a strong omni-channel approach, you will optimize customer engagement, drive revenue growth, and enhance brand presence through cohesive sales and marketing strategies.
  •  Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team to achieve ambitious sales targets.  As the Canadian Director of Sales, you will build, lead, and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence. Through mentorship, training, and strategic leadership, you will empower team members to exceed targets, drive business growth, and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and consumer insights to inform strategic decision-making.  You will leverage market analysis and data-driven insights to shape sales strategies, optimize performance, and identify growth opportunities. By analyzing sales trends, customer behavior, and competitive dynamics, you will drive informed decision-making that enhances market positioning and maximizes revenue.
  •  Oversee sales forecasting, budget allocation, and resource planning to ensure profitability.  You will oversee sales forecasting and budget management to ensure revenue targets are met while maintaining financial efficiency. By analyzing market trends and historical data, you will develop accurate forecasts, allocate resources effectively, and drive profitable growth.
  • As the Canadian Director of Sales, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and product development, to align sales strategies with overall business objectives. Through strong leadership and influence, you will drive seamless execution, foster innovation, and ensure a unified approach to market growth and customer engagement.  

Qualification Requirements

Education - Undergraduate degree in a related field of study - Business, Sales

Work Experience - 10+ years of sales leadership experience in the consumer goods industry, preferably in outdoor living, appliances, or related categories.

Proven track record of driving revenue growth and market expansion across national retail, independent, and e-commerce channels.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
Deep understanding of Canadian retail landscape and market dynamics.
Ability to travel domestically and occasionally internationally.
