Job Summary

The Head/Vice President of Domestic Operations is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing and optimizing all domestic operational activities within the organization. This role involves strategic planning, execution, and continuous improvement of operational processes to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with the company’s overall goals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale operations, driving operational excellence, and leading cross-functional teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:
•    Develop and implement the domestic operations strategy in alignment with the company’s overall business objectives.
•    Collaborate with executive leadership to set operational goals and performance benchmarks.
•    Lead the development and execution of short-term and long-term operational plans.
Operational Management:
•    Oversee day-to-day domestic operations, including supply chain management, production, logistics, and distribution.
•    Ensure that operations are running efficiently on time, and within budget.
•    Continuously monitor and analyze operational metrics to identify areas for improvement.
•    Implement best practices in operations to drive efficiency and cost savings.
Team Leadership:
•    Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
•    Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, partners, and customers.
•    Ensure effective communication and collaboration across all departments involved in domestic operations.
Financial Management:
•    Develop and manage the operations budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining high standards of quality and service.
•    Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to achieve financial targets.
Compliance and Risk Management:
•    Ensure that all domestic operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
•    Identify and mitigate risks associated with domestic operations, including supply chain disruptions, safety hazards, and regulatory compliance.
Continuous Improvement:
•    Drive initiatives for operational excellence, process optimization, and innovation within the operations function.
•    Implement and oversee quality control processes to ensure the highest standards of products and services.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Experience:
•    Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
•    Proven track record of managing large-scale domestic operations in a complex and dynamic environment.
•    Strong experience in supply chain management, logistics, and production.

Qualification Requirements

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.


Experience:
•    Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
•    Proven track record of managing large-scale domestic operations in a complex and dynamic environment.
•    Strong experience in supply chain management, logistics, and production.
Skills:

•    Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

•    Ability to drive change and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
•    Proficiency in operations management software and tools.

Physical Requirements

Office environment with occasional travel required to various domestic operational sites.
