Job Summary

The Manager, Talent Acquisition is responsible for leading the organization's recruitment strategy and full-cycle hiring process to attract, engage, and retain top talent. This role partners closely with business leaders and HR Business Partners to develop workforce planning initiatives, enhance employer branding, improve recruitment processes, and ensure an exceptional candidate experience. The Manager, Talent Acquisition oversees recruiting operations, talent sourcing strategies, recruitment metrics, and compliance with employment laws and company policies. This role is responsible for the onboarding and orientation of new hires to ensure a full understanding of our corporate culture and values. May manage, coach, and develop talent acquisition staff and recruiters.

Duties and Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition Strategy

  • Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies aligned with organizational goals and workforce plans.
  • Partner with business leaders to understand current and future hiring needs.
  • Create innovative sourcing and recruitment initiatives to attract high-quality candidates.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill positions.

Recruitment & Selection

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts, including requisition management, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and offer negotiation.
  • Ensure consistent, fair, and effective hiring practices across the organization.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define position requirements and selection criteria.
  • Monitor recruitment activities to ensure timely and successful hiring outcomes.
  • Establishes a plan for internal candidates to participate in the selection process

Employer Branding & Candidate Experience

  • Strengthen the organization's employer brand through recruitment marketing and community engagement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with colleges, professional associations, workforce development organizations, and community partners.
  • Ensure a positive and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

Analytics & Process Improvement

  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, source effectiveness, and quality of hire.
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to leadership.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline recruiting processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Leverage applicant tracking systems and recruitment technologies to optimize outcomes.

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure recruitment practices comply with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records and documentation.
  • Promote diversity, and equal employment opportunity initiatives throughout the hiring process.

Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field required. Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • 5-7+ years of progressive talent acquisition or recruiting experience.
  • 2-3+ years of leadership or management experience, a plus.
  • Experience leading high-volume and/or professional-level recruitment efforts.
  • Experience developing recruitment strategies and utilizing recruitment analytics.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or Talent Acquisition-related certification preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and employment laws.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build partnerships and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems, HRIS platforms, and recruitment technologies.
  • Data-driven decision-making and analytical capabilities.
  • Commitment to delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.

Physical Requirements

  • Primarily office-based environment with occasional travel for recruitment events, career fairs, and business meetings.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
