Job Summary
The Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) will serve as a strategic partner to the manufacturing, warehouse, and distribution center teams. This role is critical in driving HR initiatives that support business objectives, improve employee engagement, and enhance overall operational efficiency. The Senior HRBP will work closely with leaders and team members to foster a positive work environment and ensure compliance with labor laws and safety regulations. This role requires a deep understanding of both technical and business aspects to identify and address hidden issues that may impede the company’s success. Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential to effectively interact with team members at all levels and influence organizational outcomes. This role will also mentor, train, and coach other HR professionals to ensure the effective delivery of HR services across the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Business and Operations Acumen Deep understanding of manufacturing, warehouse and distribution processes and KPIs (productivity, efficiency, turnover, absenteeism) to effectively support these areas
- Strategic HR Planning: Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals and drive long-term success.
- Talent Management: proficient in talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies to build a high-performing workforce.
- Employee Relations: strong skills in managing employee relationships including employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and foster a positive work environment.
- Performance Management: Implement and oversee performance management systems to drive productivity and employee development.
- Change Management: Lead and manage change initiatives to ensure smooth transitions and adoption.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety regulations, and industry standards to minimize risks.
- Workforce Planning: Collaborate with business leaders to anticipate future workforce needs and develop strategies to meet them.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze HR metrics and data to inform strategic decisions and improve outcomes.
- Training and Development: Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
- Effective Communication: Establish clear and open lines of communication between management and employees.
- HR Expertise: Employee and Labor Relations, Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning, Performance Management, Learning and Development, Compensation & Benefits
- Systems & Tools proficiency: HRIS, SAP, ADP, Data Analytics
- Special Projects Lead and participate in HR projects, ensuring successful delivery within timelines and budget.
Qualification Requirements
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum Work Experience: 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a manufacturing environment, distribution experience is a plus.
License(s) / Certification(s): SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred

- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, including talent management, compensation, employee relations, and performance management.
- Proven experience in mentoring and coaching a team of HR professionals.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and influence at all levels of the organization.
- Strong project management skills
- Strong understanding of labor laws, OSHA requirements, and compliance requirements
- Experience working with shift-based and hourly workforce dynamics
- Familiarity with timekeeping and payroll systems for hourly team members
- Strong strategic thinking, employee relations, talent management, change management, and data analysis skills
- Up to 30% travel required
