Job Summary
The first Regenerative Agriculture Specialist (R.A.S.) at W.C. Bradley Farms, will shape the farm's expanding regenerative agriculture program, focusing on ecosystem support, animal welfare, and food production. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the R.A.S. will oversee adaptive livestock grazing, row cropping on 175 acres, and maintain farm infrastructure. This long-term role at a historic, multi-generational farm in Georgia offers growth potential and opportunities for training in regenerative agriculture.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Livestock Production: Daily care of 50-200 head of beef cattle and a flock of 100+ laying hens.
• Adaptive Grazing: involves daily movement of herd and flock using utility vehicles and portable electric fencing.
• Infrastructure and Equipment Maintenance and Repair includes high tensile and portable fencing, heavy equipment, irrigation equipment, etc.
• Implementation of Row Crop Agriculture: row cropping 175 acres of cover crops, various warm- and cool-season cash crops using regenerative practices.
• Monitoring and Record Keeping: includes herd and flock data management, row crop data management, and soil health data management and analysis.
• Ensure compliance with all food-production safety requirements.
• Various additional responsibilities as may be involved to support an existing wildlife habitat management program and the Farm’s recreational and hunting operation.
• Other duties as deemed necessary.
Qualification Requirements
Minimum Education: Degree in agriculture, soil science, environmental science, or related field preferred
Minimum Work Experience: Minimum three (3 ) years of farm or related field work experience. . Specific, experience in regenerative agricultural principles of adaptive grazing of livestock management for soil improvement is required. Proven experience in Row-Cropping preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development, with continuing education fully supported by W.C. Bradley Farms.
• Ability to safely use farm equipment, utility vehicles, small tractors, and a truck with trailer.
• Ability to do basic fence repair.
• Ability to maintain and move portable electric fencing, preferred but can be trained.
• Ability to load and haul cattle with truck and gooseneck trailer preferred but can be trained.
• Proven experience with row cropping in the Southeastern United States preferred but can be trained.
• Proficiency in conducting soil tests and interpreting soil health indicators preferred but can be trained.
• Proven ability to envision, plan and implement grazing plans is desired
• Understanding of and demonstrable experience in dealing with both buy-side and sell-side cattle markets is preferable
• Proven experience with Southeastern regional commodity and grain sell-side markets is desirable
• Hard work ethic, punctuality, responsibility, and reliability are required with no exceptions.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness.
