Product Manager - Modern Grilling

Job Summary

Manage projects to qualify products for launch, grow revenue, and gross margin.  The Product Manager is responsible for product development projects, executing activities across the product lifecycle, and recommending pricing and promotions.    Reporting to the Sr Product Manager-Modern Grilling, you will actively engage across functions, with outside service suppliers, and with major customers.  This role works closely with Engineering, Brand Marketing, Finance and Sales to develop annual plans, achieve launch targets, and align with customer objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead projects in support of platform innovation projects
  • Manage the product lifecycle for a category or segment of products
  • Shape product roadmap and key project proposals with Sr Product Manager and General Manager
  • Manage cross-functional teams with new product development and product restages
  • Partner with Omnichannel to identify market entry and support plans for direct-to-consumer, key customers, and other channels
  • Partner with Sales to develop and communicate high-quality presentations to customers
  • Develop effective sales materials, making it easy for retail store associates to understand our product offering and key positioning
  • Generate analysis and recommendations for annual planning and budget development
  • Support international team with new product launches
  • Other duties as deemed necessary.

Qualification Requirements

Minimum Education: BA/BS degree required; MBA a plus.

Minimum Work Experience: 2+ years relevant work experience in fields such as product marketing, marketing, product management, channel management or market research.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Understanding of product development and commercialization processes
  • Analytical mindset and data-driven for business decisions
  • Solid communication skills, especially synthesizing complex problems and persuading other groups of your solution
  • Ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional commercial teams
  • Project management skills and ability to track processes against milestones
  • Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness.
