Job Summary

This role is a strategic leadership position with a significant impact on commercial success for the company.  The leader is the point person for all business decisions related to Oklahoma Joe’s with the expectation of a full GM role once the business self-funds positions across all functions.  This leader will drive the strategy, innovation, and execution of the annual plan to achieve financial targets.  This platform has potential to generate significant financial and market share gains for Char-Broil LLC, so the team leader will embrace the challenge of leading a high-growth, entrepreneurial platform.
 

Duties and Responsibilities

•    Set strategy and operating direction for Oklahoma Joe’s
•    Define the 5-year roadmap for a platform that leverages and strengthens the Oklahoma Joe’s brand equity
•    Develop a high-performing team with dedicated cross-functional partners
•    Create a team environment that supports innovation and risk-taking to maximize market share
•    Lead development and commercialization of New Products from ideation to launch 
•    Conduct portfolio management to maximize market share, revenue, profitability and operational efficiency of products after launch
•    Partner with Omnichannel to identify market entry and support plans for DTC and other channels
•    Partner with Sales to effectively sell in products with retailers; Create compelling internal and external customer-facing presentations
•    Develop effective sales training materials, making it easy for retail store associates to understand our product offering and key positioning
•    Drive analysis of launch plans and in-market results to optimize platform results
•    Thought leadership for smoking segment, market trends and competitor actions
•    Other duties as deemed necessary.
 

Qualification Requirements

Minimum Education: BA/BS degree required, MBA a plus 


Minimum Work Experience:  7+ years relevant work experience in fields such as product marketing, marketing or product management
