Business Intelligence Analyst, Lead

Job Summary

W. C. Bradley Company, the home of Char-Broil Grills, TIKI® Brand Products, Badlands hunting apparel, and W. C. Bradley Real Estate is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst, Lead to join our IT Team! This position will lead the support and development of business intelligence systems and/or solutions for the WC Bradley Global Enterprise. This job is responsible to create and manage business intelligence and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge using Microsoft Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SAP to develop data-driven reporting that measures outcomes, metrics, business performance, and trends analysis for process improvements and risk management.

Duties and Responsibilities

•    Maintain the BI and analytics tool environments and licensing
•    Manage report requests via standard request process, manage cycle from report request and requirements gathering through report delivery in production
•    Document business requirements and translate them into technical reporting specifications
•    Create training material and ensure the competency and acceptance of Enterprise analytics across WC Bradley companies
•    Troubleshoot issues in existing datasets and reporting platforms
•    Maintain current reports (issues, changes, enhancements) via WCB service desk software
•    Develop report visualizations in enterprise reporting applications such as SAP Analytics Cloud, S4HANA (Analysis for Office), and Power BI 
•    Prioritize requests and workload across multiple business units based on resource availability
•    Maintain structure of developing in lower environments with properly documented technical and functional specs, and promoting to production upon final approval
•    Develop partnerships with functional business areas throughout the global organization
•    Maintain report catalogue documentation globally
•    Manage the enterprise report portfolio to include development of dynamic reports and streamlining requests to facilitate a lean and organized portfolio
•    Promote cross-company collaboration with dynamic reporting to identify opportunities for process centralization and improvement 
•    Continuous improvement of the strategy as technology evolves in the analytics landscape
•    Other duties as deemed necessary.

Qualification Requirements

Minimum Education:    

•    Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
•    Extensive experience may be considered in lieu of Four (4) year degree

 

Minimum Work Experience:

•    Seven (7) plus years hands-on experience preferred in one or more enterprise Resource Planning Systems, specifically Business Intelligence tools including
o    Power BI
o    Analysis for Office
o    S4 HANA Query Browser
o    SAP Analytics Cloud
•    Five (5) plus years Consumer Products Groups operational business process experience preferred 

 

License(s) / Certification(s):    

•    Preferred SAP Analytics Cloud Certifications
•    Preferred Power BI Certifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

•    Preferred experience with Consumer Products companies, sales, and manufacturing data
•    Ability to interact with all levels of management
•    Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills
•    Excellent Organizational skills in Microsoft Office 365
•    Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
•    Strong verbal and written communication skills
•    Ability to understand and communicate functional business requirements to technical developers
•    Ability to quickly adapt to changes in both technology and business environments
•    Must be able to operate independently 
•    Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments
•    Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.
•    Ability to work in a constant state of alertness.
