Job Summary

This position will be part of the Marketing Group and will be a social-focused Creator. As part of the creative team and the Associate Multimedia Designer will work with close collaboration and dual reporting to the Brand Marketing team. This role is part of a new strategic initiative to enhance social content across the company. The position will be responsible for the development and execution of creative assets to support social channels across our portfolio of brands creating innovative solutions across social.

Duties and Responsibilities

•    Elaborates creative briefs and strategies to life, concepting ideas and executing them on TikTok and other social channels
•    Creates social content that is engaging, authentic, and will translate in the market as personal 
•    Works in collaboration with the internal Creative team and Marketing team to ensure social content is aligned with brand aesthetics and identity
•    Participates in brainstorms, content ideation, and team meetings
•    Presents content concepts and internally execute
•    Identifies and analyzes social media trends, platforms, and tools
•    Responsible for pitch and implement social content pieces to be distributed across all social media platforms, with a focus on TikTok and Instagram
•    Creates forward-leaning multi-platform content that generates buzz and increases engagement for all brands within the Char-Broil, LLC portfolio
•    Collaborates with the team to ensure consistency of message and brand values across multiple platforms and playgrounds while tailoring each piece of content per platform, per audience
•    Responsible to stay up to date on the latest digital technology and social media trends; serve as an internal subject matter expert on social media marketing 
•    Other duties as deemed necessary.

Qualification Requirements

Minimum Education:    BA/BS degree in marketing, communications, or related field, or four (4) years comparable work experience in lieu of required coursework or related field

Minimum Work Experience:     2-4 years of experience in similar role or upscaled content creation capabilities. managing social content marketing campaigns either client or agency side. Agency side experience is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

•    Extraordinary concept creation skills, capable of execution from start to finish, with a passion for various kinds of creative outlets including design, video, editing and writing
•    Experience working across various social platforms and formats, including but not limited to Posts, Stories, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok.
•    Knowledge to create compelling video, with skills that cross production and editing. 
•    An elevated creative eye and aesthetic; with a strong creative vision
•    Have a passion for great creative storytelling to bring our brand's messaging to life in a unique and authentic way
•    Deep understanding of digital landscape, particularly social platforms (existing and emerging)
•    Proficiency in all industry-standard video applications. Adobe Creative Suite including After Effects & Premiere Pro
•    Knowledge to film and video both camera & iPhone
•    Knowledge to operate both camera & iPhone
•    Proficient working with Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, Twitter and TikTok native tools required
•    Practical knowledge of project management programs such as Basecamp or Asana and review and approval programs like Ziflow or Workfront
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•    Excellent organizational, time management & proofreading skills
•    Ability to remain highly adaptable and flexible to pivot content publishing plans
•    Ability to work well cross-functionally 
•    Ability to work remotely with reliable connectivity and virtual meetings
•    Ability to work in a constant state of alertness
•    Ability to work cooperatively with co-workers
•    Ability to have regular and predictable attendance
