Job Summary
We are looking for a creative problem-solver with a can-do attitude. As the Marketing & E-Commerce Associate Manager for Current®, you will play a critical role in managing and executing our e-commerce and digital marketing strategies across website, social media, influencer, email & SMS, affiliate, partnerships, and more. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a small, entrepreneurial team and is excited to experiment with new strategies and tactics. You’ll get hands-on experience with launching a tech-driven start-up and be involved in every aspect of its growth.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Website Management: Maintain and update the website with product launches, promotions, and content. Collaborate with teams to ensure consistency with brand messaging and optimize user experience.
- Organic Social Media Management: Develop and execute strategies to increase brand visibility and engagement across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, X), create engaging content, and analyze performance metrics to optimize growth.
- Content Creator & Influencer Management: Identify and manage relationships with influencers and content creators. Plan and execute campaigns, tracking success to maximize ROI and brand impact.
- Email & SMS Campaigns: Coordinate with agencies to execute email and SMS marketing. Track campaign performance and align strategies with product launches and promotions.
- Customer Engagement: Respond to social media comments and messages, working with customer service to ensure a seamless experience. Foster community engagement through user-generated content and testimonials.
- Affiliates: Manage our Affiliate channel and collaborate with agency partners to drive incremental revenue through affiliate opportunities.
- Retail Marketing: Manage our presence on partner retail sites, including Amazon, making updates for new products, promotions, and campaigns.
- Analytics & Reporting: Use analytics tools to track social media, influencer, and website performance. Provide insights for campaign optimization and conduct competitor research to identify new growth opportunities.
- Other: Assist in product seeding programs to drive customers reviews, manage all sample order requests, manage invoices and vendor set up.
Qualification Requirements
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field.
Minimum Work Experience: Three (3) years of in digital marketing, eCommerce, or related marketing experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Passion for working in a small, entrepreneurial team with a hands-on approach.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, pays strong attention to detail, team player.
- Hands-on experience with website management within Shopify.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics.
- Experience managing influencer partnerships and content creators preferred.
- Knowledge of email and SMS marketing strategies.
- Creative problem-solver with a can-do attitude.
- Both creative and analytical; able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks as needed.
