Social Media Coordinator

Job Summary

The Social Media Coordinator works closely to support the Social Media Manager and the Brand Marketing team in developing content and managing the day-to-day posting and monitoring of social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube).

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare & post organic social media activity across all platforms
  • Coordinate Sprout Social & social content calendar, partnering with internal and external stakeholders to ensure holistic view
  • Ensure quality control of all publishing in social platforms, including copy, video sizing, captions, CTAs
  • Support Social Media Manager in social monitoring efforts, including escalation to Customer Care Team as needed
  • Stay up to date on platform updates on both social media channels, social tools, and posting best practices
  • Stay up to date on the latest digital technology and social media trends
  • Complete regular competitive social media audits and report on findings
  • Perform various administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing budgets, organizing folders and documents, etc.  
  • Assist social media marketing team with any additional assigned activities

Qualification Requirements

Minimum Education: BA/BS degree

Minimum Work Experience: 1-2 years of experience in marketing, communications or a directly related field preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, Twitter and TikTok required.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, time management & proofreading skills
  • Ability to remain highly adaptable and flexible to pivot content publishing plans
  • Ability to work well cross-functionally 
  • Ability to work remotely with reliable connectivity and virtual meetings
  • Ability to work cooperatively with co-workers
  • Ability to have regular and predictable attendance
