Job Summary

Seeking an Associate Marketing Manager who is passionate about marketing strategy and execution. This role will aid in developing the go-to market strategy to increase brand awareness and drive sales, reaching the right consumer with the right message at the right time. You will lead and project manage content and media across multiple channels, including social, email, public relations, website, organic search, partnerships and influencers from conception to distribution.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and implement a marketing strategy and distribution plan across our marketing channels by developing clear and consistent messaging that brings the brand value proposition to consumers. 
  • Develop and manage the editorial calendar. Collaborate across functions and silos to deliver an effective content marketing and editorial plan to meet the business and campaign objectives.
  • Editorial requirements include basic SEO understanding, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution and measurement. Development of editorial governance so content is consistent with our brand voice, style and tone.
  • Evaluate social creative and manage monthly social calendar. This person must understand the basic best practices of the main social media channels, which content and approaches work on each and why.
  • Plan and execute monthly emails, working closely with the agency and internal team to ensure the effectiveness and success of our email initiatives.
  • Work with our public relation agency to identify, develop and execute strategic and creative pitches, including coordination of internal resources on program development and implementation.
  • Collaborate with all creative resources including writers, graphic designers, bloggers, photographers, videographers, influencers, and other agency or internal personnel.
  • Measure content and channel performance, report out on metrics, identify opportunities to A/B test and optimize future executions based on findings.
  • Maintain a high-quality level of work in a fast-paced environment, while staying organized and self-manage time to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Embrace daily challenges and be resourceful in solving problems.

Qualification Requirements

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or significant work experience in related field.


Minimum Work Experience: Three (3) years of marketing experience. 


License(s) / Certification(s): Certifications in Google Analytics, Adwords preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Experience with Wordpress and/or Magento preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with excellent follow-up and follow-through
  • Self-starter attitude, Eager to learn, reliable and responsible
  • Ability to work independently or with a team
  • Creative thinker willing to thinking outside of the box to create solutions
  • Ability to be positive, solutions-oriented, while having fun and inviting innovation
  • Ability to be self-motivated, organized, and accountable
  • Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.
