Job Summary

The National Account Manager E-Commerce will focus on delivering sales growth and managing all aspects of the business within, Marketplace and other E-Commerce retail customers.  He/she will work cross-functionally with marketing, inventory, and product teams to execute channel strategies, forecast, negotiate assortment and promotions and help drive overall sales growth in our fastest-growing and strategic retail channel.  Will work closely with the Senior Director of Sales to execute the long-term strategy, develop and strengthen key relationships along the way.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute ecommerce retail business plans to effectively launch new products, increase merchandising effectiveness, drive sales results and deliver brand share growth.
  • Regularly track eCommerce sales performance, report out and leverage to strengthen our products and positioning.
  • Own customer sales relationships and effectively manage direct to consumer marketplace programs.
  • Lead execution of eCommerce sales and marketing plans.
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure Char-Broil is focused on the omni customer.
  • Plan and execute item forecast to include weekly sales forecasts, promotions, new item launches.
  • Forecast inventory needs and identify/secure incremental opportunities.
  • Maintain and enhance the digital shelf presentation to grow sales, improve customer experience, and boost overall ratings and reviews.
  • Own new item creation working closely with marketing and product management to bring products to life online.
  • Comfortable with utilizing, manipulating and creating content to deliver compelling and conversion-optimized product detail pages.

Qualification Requirements

Minimum Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field.  Master’s degree is an asset (or equivalent experience).

Minimum Work Experience:

Four (4) to Five (5) years’ experience in sales account management, with a least Two (2) to Three (3) years’ experience of Walmart-focused and/or eCommerce retail experience.

License(s) / Certification(s):  None.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong e-commerce knowledge
  • Strong facilitation, analytical, critial thinking and problem-solving skills - including idea generation, conflict management, issues excalation, prioritization, and the ability to manage changing priorities.
  • Business piloting and monitoring (performance management)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong MS Excel knowledge
  • Ability to strive in fast-paced, results driven environment
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills.  Ability to communicate persuasively and precisely across all levels of management, both internal/external with customer and 3P agencies.
  • Experience managing customers within a drop/ship environment
  • Sales and negotiation skills
  • Strong organizational, coordination, and execution skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in Retail Link including Item360 and NOVA
  • Familiarity with Walmart, Amazon and Ebay marketplaces
  • Account management experience in a retail environment (e-Commerce preferred)
  • Walmart eCommerce and Supplier Center experience
  • Ability to effectively and constructively work out of a home office environment
  • Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness
