Job Summary

Assist in creation of the vision and strategy behind our brands. Gather and leverage consumer feedback and data analytics to assist in developing marketing plans and identifying specific marketing tactics to build on consumer insights. Use expertise and innovative tactics to grow our brands profitably.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing business objectives and brand strategies to deliver corporate goals
  • Ensure all brand messaging is communicated as one voice to the consumer across all 360° consumer touchpoints.  Ensure brand standards and equity are being upheld.
  • Own marketing budget management.   Ensure accuracy, ROI-disciplined spending, and transparency to leadership.
  • Support the brand leader in preparing and delivering marketing presentations for both internal and external audiences
  • Gain deep understanding of consumer drivers & barriers.  Conduct research and analyze data to identify business-building consumer insights.
  • Lead development of brand positioning & communication strategies
  • Direct agency partners to ensure effective and efficient translation of marketing strategies into activation plans
  • Lead/participate in development and execution of brand marketing initiatives including new product launches and always-on marketing elements
  • New product launches: develop initiative communication idea, promotions and selling decks/sheets for all new launches
  • Manage creation of engaging content that supports brand positioning
  • Monitor and moderate consumer engagement on social platforms, ratings & reviews, and consumer call center acting as the voice of the brand
  • Lead trade shows, consumer events, and sponsorship programs
  • Lead/participate in media planning with agency partners to deliver maximum reach/ROI
  • Monitor and report key performance measurements to ensure brands are tracking against goals.  Recommend and implement corrective actions.
  • Recommend and develop actions to amplify in-market opportunities or address issues.
  • Lead competitive tracking and analysis and provide action recommendations
  • Oversee product packaging to ensure compliance with brand guidelines
  • Work hand in hand with the sales team to understand & integrate customer strategies.  Partner on channel marketing executions to maximize effectiveness of brand messaging on merchandising and ensure compliance with brand equities
  • Manage consumer events and trade shows
  • Other duties as deemed necessary.

Qualification Requirements

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising, Communication, or related field of study.

Minimum Experience:

  • Two (2) years of progressive marketing experience within the consumer products industry.

  • None.

  • Ability to develop creative concepts and direct agency creative to achieve exceptional brand expressions.

  • Ability to manage teams and guide multiple projects through the system with urgency to deliver on deadlines.

Physical Requirements

Normal office environment with limited travel required.
