Performance Marketing Manager

Job Summary

This position main objective to create the digital marketing strategy that includes a range of  marketing activities to meet the advertising needs of the business. The Performance Marketing Manager is responsible for the management of digital accounts and diversifying the channel mix using paid social channels, focus on campaign specific results and drives the marketing department’s commercial performance.

Duties and Responsibilities

•    Plans and executes SEM/PPC, social media and display advertising campaigns to deliver online business results and profitability
•    Works closely with the D2C team to identify growth goals and create plans via performance marketing to deliver revenue targets
•    Responsible for the tracking, measure, report out and for the optimization performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
•    Identifies trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
•    In collaboration with the Brand and Omni teams plan email and SMS and then execute emails within Emarsys (Email Service Provider) platform
•    Coordinates sales/promotional, e-mail and SMS strategies with omni, sales and brand teams
•    Develops new and creative growth strategies
•    Collaborates with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience
•    Collaborates with agencies and other vendor partners
•    Stays up to date about the latest marketing technologies, to provide thought leadership on adoption and testing into strategies as appropriate
•    Supports critical technological stack investment projects that drive efficiencies for performance marketing
•    Other duties as deemed necessary

Qualification Requirements

Minimum Education:    

•    BA/BS degree in marketing or a related field. 
•    Relevant experience can be substituted for the required education on the basis of one calendar year of experience for one academic year of education.

Minimum Work Experience:   Three  (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience in digital marketing (PPC, Search, Display, Paid Social) or an equivalent combination of education and experience on either client or agency side. DTC or ecomm brand experience a plus. 


License(s) / Certification(s):     None

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

•    Experience managing and leading email, PPC, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns
•    Experience with developing and deploying emails within ESPs (Emarsys preferred) 
•    Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
•    Proven problem-solving and team building skills
•    Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
•    Proficient knowledge of SEM techniques and practices
•    Familiarity with A/B and multivariate testing
•    Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
•    Must be detail oriented and organized
•    Must possess excellent customer service skills and work well under pressure
•    Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
•    Ability to work in a constant state of alertness
•    Ability to collaborate cooperatively with co-workers
•    Ability to have regular and predictable attendance
