Job Summary

We are looking for an independent, hands-on, data-minded team player to help us to build out the Brand Partnerships and Licensing segment of our business. Reporting to the Sr Director of Brand Marketing, you will be developing and executing strategies for expanding our base of partnerships, increasing the footprint of the company's brands, and ultimately delivering top-line revenue for the organization. The ideal candidate is a flexible, self-starter who can support all levels of the partnership and licensing business—from researching potential opportunities, to the on-boarding and management of strategic partners, to operational duties such as approvals, audits, and reporting. The ideal candidate will possess an uncanny ability to multi-task and independently prioritize their time to maximize business and customer benefit.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain business relationships and designing policies which allow partnerships to thrive
  • Identify opportunities for new partnerships, strengthening existing relationships and collaborations
  • Helps support development of new brand intellectual property and initiatives and clearly communicates partner brand standards and licensing callouts cross functionally
  • Conduct market research for trends and insights, new licensing and brand, business opportunities and put forth a case to recommend these directions through milestone process
  • Review partner materials and samples to ensure they include required elements and align with brand quality expectations
  • Ensure success of each partnership and/or licensee through on-going management, supporting their business needs with responsive communications and assisting them in executing their growth plans
  • Ensure brand and quality standards are maintained with each partnership through product approvals and monitor marketplace reviews to identify any potential issues
  • Track status, open items, and deliverables for each partnership to ensure the launch and ongoing program is a success
  • Operational duties such as requesting invoicing and reporting
  • Present to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Qualification Requirements

Education: BA/BS degree required

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in brand management, project management, marketing, or licensing; experience working in brand, licensing or CPG is a plus

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Understanding of marketing campaigns and launches
  • Proven history of external client facing relationships
  • Superior written and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail with good analytical skills
  • Excellent project management skills and experience building go-to-market plans
  • Analytical mindset and comfort using data to diagnose and inform decisions
  • Ability to prioritize, adapt, test, and learn
  • Be curious, detail-oriented, and a problem solver
  • Ability to work well cross-functionally
