Job Summary

The Sr. Manager, Brand Marketing will be a key player in brand and product marketing content development and activation for our portfolio of brands that delivers on brand objectives with the overall goal of driving results. This role is a challenging and strategic one, critical to the success of the company goals. This is a hybrid role based out of our new office located near Piedmont Part on the beltline in Atlanta, Ga.

This is a really exciting time to be part of our Brand Team as we drive a new brand look and architecture for our heritage brand, Charbroil, executing against a brand refresh on Oklahoma Joe’s and support a new, disruptive brand and product line that is revolutionizing the industry, CURRENT.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Be a champion for the brand(s) and operate with a strong sense of ownership
  • Manage a small, internal team with diverse skillsets that cover media house expertise and brand marketing
  • Help lead the planning and development of the annual marketing calendar to meet revenue objectives for D2C, omnichannel and brick & mortar retailers
  • Develop, manage, analyze and report on KPIs
  • Strategically build and plan different content layers by brand and tactics in a unified effort to drive followership, engagement and conversion
  • Partner with the product team to commercialize innovative new products with compelling messaging, visual content, digital and in-store execution that meets product launch goals
  • Support the New Product Development Process Commercialization deliverables that includes consumer validation to Digital and Physical shelf execution
  • Partner with sales team and customer brand and marketing teams to optimize retailer toolkits and analyze results to meet objectives
  • Partner with D2C team to develop content calendar, audit and update content and drive sales through performance marketing tactics
  • Creative brief development for internal and external creative team members that clearly communicates objectives and provides clear direction to deliver content that is on brand and best in class deliverables from packaging to POP to digital and traditional marketing campaigns
  • Engage and manage external agency relationships and deliverables

Qualification Requirements

Minimum Education:    

  • BA / BS degree – Masters Degree preferred

Minimum Work Experience:   

  • Must possess a minimum of eight (8) years experience in Branding and Marketing, Advertising, ideally in the CPG space

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to demonstrate broad and well-developed functional marketing skills
  • Analytics acumen and passion
  • Self-starter, entrepreneurial leader who performs well in a lean, fast-paced environment with a strong work ethic and brings a combination of high energy with high sense of urgency.  
  • Strong communication skills; ability to speak and write effectively, adapting messages to a range of audiences
  • Creative problem solver; ability to think outside the box to create solutions and drive business strategy
  • Drive and encourage a culture of continuous improvements
  • Experience in developing claims and conducting market research and assessing consumer insights to develop compelling  UVPs and marketing campaigns that result in hitting business objectives
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Magento, Salsify, Klayvio
  • Excellent project management skills and experience building go-to market plans
  • Ability to prioritize, adapt, test, and learn
  • Be curious, detail-oriented, and a problem solver
  • Ability to work well cross-functionally
