As an Digital Marketing Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in optimizing the performance of our brand sites. Your mission? Char-Broil® is located in Columbus.  This position is a hybrid job if within a 50-mile radius of the office or remote.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with product managers and creative teams to manage product flow and ensure all assets needed have been requested and provided in Salsify
  • Develop and maintain promotion calendar in accordance with MAP pricing policies that meet monthly financial goals.
  • Conduct user testing and analyze findings to perform site enhancements that lead to goal conversions such as transactions, add to cart, email sign up etc.
  • Use Google Analytics along with (Magento) database order data to track key site metrics, analyzing channels and conversion rates to determine where to prioritize optimizations
  • Collaborate with product and marketing teams to optimize and identify new merchandising, promo, and pricing opportunities to drive increased revenue and conversion
  • Participate in prioritizing site enhancements with development team; work with development team to review projects daily. Provide timelines and status updates to business while attending sprint planning meetings within an Agile framework

Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA a plus
  • 3 - 5 years experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Digital Marketing Platform:  Proficiency in managing Magento
  • Content Management Systems (CMS):  Experience with Salsify for updating and managing website content
  • Digital Marketing:  Understanding of digital marketing concepts, including ECO, SEM, email marketing, social media marketing, and content marketing, to optimize online presence and drive traffic.
  • Data Analysis:  Ability to analyze digital marketing metrics and data using tools like Google Analytics to identify trends, evaluate performance, and make data-driven decisions.
  • User Experience (UX) Design:  Understanding of UX principles to create a seam less an intuitive online shopping experience for consumers improving conversion rates and consumer experience.
  • Technical Skills:  Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for making minor website adjustments and troubleshooting technical issues.  Familiarity with JavaScript or other programming languages is a plus.
  • Project Management:  Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced digital marketing environment.
  • Communication Skills:  Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, IT and product management.
  • Attention to Detail:  Thoroughness is ensuring accuracy of website content, product listings, pricing information, and promotional materials to maintain brand consistency and compliance.
  • Problem-Solving Skills:  Ability to identify digital marketing challenges, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to improve website performance and user experience.
  • Consumer Obsessed:  Dedication to understanding needs, preferences, and behavior to tailor online shopping experience and drive CLV.
  • Continuous Learning:  Commitment to staying updated on digital marketing trends, best practices, and emerging technologies through self-directed learning, industry publications, and professional development opportunities.
  • Team Player:  Collaboration and teamwork skills to work effectively with colleagues across different departments and contribute to the overall success of the digital marketing team and organization.
